Is Heather’s real killer texting Phyllis?

Phyllis is determined to prove that Sharon killed Heather on The Young and the Restless. She was so determined that on the Wednesday, November 13 episode (the soap’s 13,000th), she took her eyes off the road — she was too busy texting with “Sharon” — and ended up crashing her car. Who has time to follow traffic rules when there’s a nemesis to bring down once and for all? Phyllis is convinced nobody, but Sharon could have killed Heather. But the show has been particularly coy about what exactly went down before Sharon wrapped Daniel’s partner in a carpet and threw her in the river. Which makes us think there’s a major twist coming.

See No Evil

Viewers watched Sharon (Sharon Case) go to Heather (Vail Bloom) and Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) apartment. We watched her pour poison into their wine…and we watched her pour it down the drain. Then Heather came home, yelling commenced and…the next thing we knew Heather was dead, and Sharon was washing blood off her hands. (Kind of like the story Velma Kelly tells in Chicago.)

So we — and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) — didn’t actually see Sharon commit the deed. Time passed in between. Time when anything could have happened.

Guilty Party

Sure, Sharon has been acting like she’s guilty. Sharon even believes that she’s guilty. But Sharon doesn’t know that she’s a character on a soap opera. We do.

Still, if it wasn’t Sharon who done the deed, then whodunit? Why would they want to frame Sharon? And why would they have a grudge against Heather? We can think of only one person who hates Heather more than Sharon does.

Mother Hood

Sharon doesn’t even particularly hate Heather. Her beef is with Daniel and, more recently, Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Both of them were responsible for Sharon’s daughters getting into car accidents. Heather had nothing to do with either. She was just the person Daniel and Lucy currently love.

Lucy especially. After Heather died, Lucy said that her mom was her best friend. But, here’s the thing: Heather wasn’t Lucy’s biological mom. Lucy’s biological mom is a complete psycho named Daisy, daughter of Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Daisy lost both Daniel and Lucy to Heather. Daisy has the best reason to hate Heather and want her gone.

Sharon can’t find her cell phone. But Phyllis is getting texts from Sharon’s phone. And now she’s been in an accident. Could Daisy be the one behind…everything?
