Many The Young and the Restless fans took to Twitter to compliment Camryn Grimes (Mariah) for her recent powerhouse performances as her character continues to question her feelings for Tessa.
In fact, the show’s even lured back a lapsed viewer – none other than fan favorite Michael Muhney (ex-Adam)!
The actor tweeted out praise for both Grimes and his former TV wife Sharon Case (Sharon) for their work in the emotional scenes in which Mariah came out to her mother regarding her feelings for Tessa and how conflicted she feels.
“Give this girl (Grimes) an Emmy every year, forever,” Muhney tweeted in response to Grimes (when she shared with her followers what she had for breakfast!)
Fans responded to Muhney, not only agreeing with the actor’s praise of Grimes, but they were also happy to hear he still watches the show.
Muhney responded that he picked up viewing again on Wednesday, October 25, which coincides with the first episode featuring executive producer Mal Young’s work as head writer on the top-rated soap!
The Emmy-nominated performer is still acting. He recently guest-starred on The Good Doctor on ABC. However, his return to Y&R is not likely to happen per insiders. The good news is his loyal fans stand by the performer and will follow him wherever he goes next!
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
