The Young and the Restless Favorite Trevor St. John Celebrates His Birthday

You’ll usually find his Young and the Restless alter-ego taking several his licks on the chin, but luckily for beloved birthday boy Trevor St. John the only thing being told out are congratulations.

Happy Birthday, Trevor St. John

An accomplished amateur athlete and percussionist, Trevor St. John, born September 3, 1971, was first bitten by the acting bug when snagged the part of Aiden Quinn’s stand-in in Benny and Joon, a film made in St. John’s hometown of Spokane, Washington.

One year and six months later (give or take a month), St. John was in Los Angeles playing a skinhead in John Singleton’s Higher Learning. Subsequent film roles included bit parts in Crimson Tide, Bio-Dome, Back In Business, The Bourne Ultimatum, and My Soul Take.

The Art of Getting Over It, a short film which debuted in 2008 was co-written by St. John (who also starred) and his cousin Graham Sarman. Also, amongst the cast was St. John’s father, former Spokane TV broadcaster, Mark.

Nineteen ninety-five proved to be a banner year for budding thespian St. John who not only broke into films but also appeared in several made-for-TV movies — Sketch Artist II: Hands That See and Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story — as well as the series Murder She Wrote and Seaquest 2032

And while St. John would go on to appear in episodes of Nash Bridges, Just Shoot Me!, The Client List, The Vampire Diaries, Containment, and The Fosters, he made a name for himself after joining the cast of ABC’s One Life to Live. Originally a recast Todd Manning, St. John was successfully paired opposite Kassie DePaiva before a latter-day change saw him revealed to be Todd’s twin brother, Victor. A subsequent coupling with Florencia Lozano’s Tea equally appealed to the show’s fans. Since 2022, the actor has portrayed Tucker McCall on The Young and the Restless.

St. John has been married to Sarah St. John, a graphic designer and businesswoman since 2000. The couple have one child, a son named Aiden.
