It’s cheers all around for The Young and the Restless‘ Dr. Nate Hastings: His business career is running smoothly (well, almost), as is his budding relationship with Victoria Newman (well, almost). And those same well wishes are also on tap for actor Sean Dominic.
Happy Birthday, Sean Dominic
And that’s because he was born on August 18 in Madrid, Spain, which means that the talented fan-favorite is turning another year older today! Dominic first entered the entertainment industry as a model, and then he transitioned into acting via commercials.
In time, the budding star decided to relocate from Atlanta, Georgia to New York City in order to hone his craft with a number of acclaimed professors, including Susan Batson, Carol Ford, Rebecca Guy, and Tony Greco.
Dominic’s first professional credit was a guest role in the TV series Royal Pains (Ballplayer #2). Following that, he played Bartender in six episodes of According to Him & Her.
His other work includes appearances on programs such as First Dates and Textual Intercourse (Todd), short films like The Wait of a Feather (Danny) and Cal & Val (Cal Reese), and feature-length efforts, including 2018’s Running Out of Time (Clarence).
Dominic has had significant recurring roles on the OWN Network serial Greenleaf (Jabari Johnson), as well as on the series Situationships (Damian) and Makeup X Breakup (Victor Parish). He also has a starring role on Code 13: Unreadable (Detective Jason Martins). He has played Y&R’s Nate Hastings (who was born onscreen in 1992) since April 10, 2019.
When he is not acting, Dominic enjoys boxing, hiking, playing basketball, and other physical activities that keep him fit. He is also a fan of traveling, no doubt thanks to the years he spent relocating from area to area with his mother, a member of the U.S. Airforce.
