Amanda’s backstory is getting fleshed out on The Young and the Restless with the addition of actor Christian Keyes. He’s set to play a mystery man from her past.
A Man To Learn More About Amanda
According to Soap Opera Digest, Keyes has been hired to play Ripley Turner, Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan), ex-fiancé. Any upcoming reunion may not be pleasant — or even legal — as he’s the man Amanda filed a restraining order against.
Maybe Devon (Bryton James) will come to Amanda’s aid should Ripley want to resume his relationship with the attractive attorney. This development, if it happens, could complicate Devon’s dynamic with Elena (Brytni Sarpy). She is already jealous of Amanda and he is borderline obsessed. (Well, she is a dead ringer for Hilary, so it’s easy to figure out why.)
Keyes’ previous credits include being a series regular on Saints & Sinners and Let’s Stay Together. His other credits include DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Boys, 9-1-1, Mistresses, and Supernatural.
The actor, who celebrates his birthday on July 24, was born in Detroit and was raised in Flint, Michigan. He has a son, Christian Keyes, Jr. Keyes’ first airdate is set for Wednesday, February 5. However, that may change due to the Impeachment trial in the Senate.
