Sally Spectra has had a very hard year with her personal life on The Young and the Restless, but her professional life seems to be going well. Luckily, things seem great all around for the actress who portrays her, Courtney Hope, who is all set to celebrate.
And that’s because she was born on August 15, 1989, in Dallas, Texas, which means that this fan favorite is turning 34 years old today! Hope declared that she wanted to be an actress at the age of 3, but her parents didn’t take her assertion seriously until she was 12 — and only after she secured a role on Walker, Texas Ranger.
Hope enrolled in an accelerated performing arts school where she learned the craft of acting and participated in dance classes and gymnastics. Upon graduation, she attended college and continued to pursue her dream.
In time, she secured roles in several commercials and various primetime programs, including Joan of Arcadia, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles, Bones, and Transparent.
She also appeared in many films — both independent and mainstream — including Prowl, Revan, Swelter, Allegiant, and Displacement. Between 2017 and the summer of 2020, Hope played Sally Spectra on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Hope is also well known for her voiceover work in the video games Quantum Break (where she was Beth Wilder) and Control (where she was Jesse Faden). She also made a small contribution to Star Wars: The Old Republic — Knights of the Eternal Throne.
Soap Hub would like to wish Courtney Hope a very happy birthday, and you can, too, by clicking on the Twitter link below.
