Summer’s Change Of Heart About Claire Could Come Back To Haunt Her on Young and the Restless

On the May 24 episode of The Young and the Restless, Summer tried to stay strong in her stance on Claire. Ultimately, Harrison’s reaction to her cousin made Summer change her mind, but that may come back to haunt her…sooner than she thinks.

About Face

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) talked to Summer (Allison Lanier) about Claire (Hayley Erin). Nick urged his daughter to give Claire another chance, but Summer wasn’t feeling it. Later, even Phyllis seemed somewhat moved by Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) describing her feelings about Claire, which was a surprising turn of events.

Meanwhile, Harrison (Redding Munsell) got Kyle (Michael Mealor) to invite Claire to the carnival. The three of them rode a Ferris wheel, and they had a grand time. Later, Summer saw them all at Chancellor Park, and she decided to give her cousin a second chance because of the way Harrison felt. Harrison jumped for joy.

Of course, the little boy could be in for a world of pain because Victor (Eric Braeden) caught Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) trying to take Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to a real prison. He quickly put a stop to it, which means that Jordan is still in play.

Obviously, Jordan already kidnapped Claire once, leaving her for dead. The madwoman also kidnapped Harrison, and he’s still having nightmares. If Jordan somehow escapes (and let’s face it, the woman is slippery when it comes to prisons), she’ll be out and about to terrorize Claire again. Jordan may even take Harrison since it looks like Claire will spend more time with Harrison now.
