When Summer and Billy get cranky on The Young and the Restless, they have only one go-to solution: They have sex. They did it when they were both mad at Phyllis — and Phyllis and Billy were living together at the time. Now, Billy and Phyllis are no longer together. But Summer and Billy are still cranky. Which means they may fall back into old habits.
That’ll Show ‘Em
On the November 21 episode, Summer (Allison Lanier) was so angry with Chance (Conner Floyd) for doing his job by the book instead of letting himself be guided by crackpot theories from Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) that she broke up with him. And Billy (Jason Thompson) was so angry that his brother wouldn’t give him a job at their family company after Billy nearly destroyed his other family company that he went into his traditional self-pitying diatribe about how everyone thinks he’s a screw-up for the single, solitary unfair reason that he’s always screwed up. What kind of logic is that?
Summer and Billy both have scores to settle. Here’s how they might do it.

Hit the Sheets
If Summer sleeps with Billy again, it will prove she is totes over Chance. Plenty of fish in the sea, you know, Officer? And if Billy sleeps with Summer, it will prove he’s not a screw-up. He’s still hot and sexy. No one who is hot and sexy could be a screwup. Duh…
Sure, we know he and Sally (Courtney Hope) are slowly moving toward more than kisses, but we’re not seeing that pan out in the end.
Bedroom to Boardroom
And after that little bit of revenge sex is taken care of, Summer and Billy can get down to business. Billy is mad at Jack (Peter Bergman). Summer is mad at Chance and maybe even Kyle (Michael Mealor).
Why not join forces to take down that smug, self-righteous family? Sure, they’re Billy’s family, too. And Summer’s beloved son is an Abbott. But hey, it’s business. They’ll be like Victor (Eric Braeden). He gets kudos for screwing over his family members and calling it love. Why shouldn’t they?
