It’s no secret that Wicked is the hottest thing around right now with the movie in theaters. The Young and the Restless cast managed to get in on the action with their own special rendition of “What is This Feeling?” from the movie’s soundtrack. However, the ending didn’t quite go as they planned.
The video posted to Instagram featured Courtney Hope (Sally), Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), and Hayley Erin (Claire). It started out grand. The four women did a lovely choreography to the song from Wicked. It was spirited and lots of fun.
They needed plenty of room, so they did it in a wide hallway at the Y&R studio. Whoever filmed them did an excellent job keeping up with the back-and-forth choreography. It all built and built to the triumphant ending. One small thing happened as the women hit their final poses with dramatic moves and leaps.

Hendrickson finished with a flying jump, and she landed near Egan. Meanwhile, Erin had finished with a dramatic slide to the floor. As she slid to a stop, Hendrickson knocked into Egan, who fell down right on top of Erin, knocking them both to the floor in a laughing heap.
Lauralee Bell (Christine) replied, “😍👏.”
Next, Tracey Bregman (Lauren) wished she’d been involved. “The best! 😍And so upset not to be dancing with you lol 💚”
Ashley’s portrayer, Eileen Davidson, heaped on the praise. “Bravo!!!!!!👏👏👏😍”
Erin had some words for Egan. “Get well soon [Melissa Claire Egan] 😂❤️❤️” she wrote.
A couple of Egan’s former All My Children co-stars also chimed in.
General Hospital‘s Cameron Mathison (Drew) wrote, “Haha! Love it”
Rebecca Budig (Taylor, The Bold and the Beautiful) also replied, “Oh my God. I wish I had been at work to witness this in person.” B&B and Y&R shoot in the same building on different stages.
We also think there may be some additional videos like this from daytime’s other drama because GH’s Finola Hughes (Anna) discussed taking up the challenge. “Yassss!! Come on [Kate Mansi (Christina)] time for GH & Wicked! Challenge accepted!”
Laura Wright also got in on the action declaring the video “AMAZING!!!!!!!”
