It’s well known that Joshua Morrow is hilarious on and off-screen on The Young and the Restless. However, his regular scene partner, Sharon Case, makes the case for which one of them is funnier, and it might not be who you think.
Funniest Of All
Case and Morrow have acted together on Y&R over the last three decades. Sharon and Nick have had their ups and downs, and lately, they’ve settled into a healthy friendship and co-parenting relationship. (Well, that is, until Sharon started hallucinating kissing him).
The actress recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest about her and Morrow’s fun behind-the-scenes friendship. She told the site that she loved to be able to make her co-star laugh.
“He’s so funny that you think, ‘Oh, it’s probably hard to make someone like that laugh,’ and maybe it is in some regards,” Case admitted. “…With Josh, you’ve got to be really funny for him to laugh. And so when I make him bust up, I’m like, ‘Wow, hey, I’m funny!'”
Case continued, discussing one little-known fact about how Morrow uses some of the funny things she’s said to make him laugh. “I take it as a compliment, and you know what? Over the years, he has stolen some of my lines and the funny stuff that I make up and uses them — and every time, he forgets that he’s stolen from me!”
Are you surprised to learn this? As for who’s funnier? It’s hard to say, but certainly, if Morrow uses Case’s material, there’s a case to be made for her being the funniest.
