Young and the Restless Star Jason Thompson Hints At A ‘Silly’ Twist

Billy and Sally have grown closer on The Young and the Restless since Adam and Chelsea cheated on them. Could this closeness lead to “Silly” in the future? Actor Jason Thompson discussed the possibility.

A ‘Silly’ Moment

Thompson recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest. He said he could see the possibility of something romantic developing between Billy and Sally (Courtney Hope). Billy gained a newfound respect for Sally over the way she was with Adam (Mark Grossman), and they got to know each other in a way they hadn’t before when they worried about Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan).

Thompson told the outlet, “I do,” see a possible spark for Sally and Billy. “I’m always interested to see what can happen with anything like that. I haven’t been able to work with Courtney a lot but the times that I have worked with her, it’s been really wonderful. So progressing that storyline, if it went that way, that would be great, too.

“But at this point, I don’t really know [what the show is planning],” Thompson continued. “I’m trying not to get too far ahead of it because I’ve got to keep my head in the game right now. But yeah, I could see it. I think they’re starting to enjoy their own company a little bit more, which is good. I think that having the time under tension is important for building relationships and I think that’s where they’re kind of starting from right now.”

Viewers have noticed Sally and Billy growing closer recently. Certainly, if they don’t end up romantically involved, we could see Sally being involved with Billy at Abbott-Chancellor.
