The coronavirus crisis has not only halted production on all the soaps, but soap vet and current The Young and the Restless cast member Jordi Vilasuso and his family have contracted the virus. He and his wife, Kaitlin, are now sharing an update on their health in an effort to help others.
Jordi Vilasuso Reveals Battle With COVID-19
“So it happened, friends..” Kaitlin Vilasuso, Jordi’s wife, posted on her account. “Our family got covid-19. We debated sharing this, but finally decided to in the hope of possibly being a source of information or comfort to someone who might be in a similar situation. 🙏🏻 Please watch the full video.
“From the bottom of our hearts thank you to every single person on the frontlines risking their lives to keep us safe.. thank YOU for letting us share a part of our life and our family with you. Daytime Pals Show Support
Vilasuso has appeared on all three networks, while currently on CBS. On NBC, he was Dario on Days of our Lives. He also was on ABC, playing Dr. Griffin Castillo on All My Children. So the couple’s pals from all over daytime weighed in with words of support on Vilasuso’s Instagram page.
