Rory Gibson, The Young and the Restless
Last seen in Genoa City in April, Rory Gibson (Noah) hasn’t been idle. The actor is starring in a new Netflix film titled Rebel Moon: A Child of Fire about a distant planet threatened by a tyrannical army whose only hope may lie in a mysterious stranger in their midst. The film also stars Anthony Hopkins, Charlie Hunnam, Corey Stoll, Jena Malone, and Djimon Hounsou. Look for the feature to debut on the channel on December 22, 2023, with a limited release in select theaters on December 15.

Christmas just got the Diva treatment as Lifetime Television announced an addition to their holiday movie slate, It’s a Wonderful Lifetime. For Ladies of the 80s: A Divas Christmas, the network snagged five delicious divas in what is sure to be a new holiday classic. Loni Anderson (WKRP in Cincinnati), Morgan Fairchild (ex-Haven, General Hospital; ex-Anjelica, Days of our Lives), Linda Gray (ex-Priscilla, The Bold and the Beautiful), Donna Mills (ex-Madeline, General Hospital), and Nicolette Sheridan (Knots Landing) star as five soap actresses who are getting ready for a reunion when they decide to play cupid for their producer and director. Christopher Atkins (Dallas), Patrika Darbo (Nancy, DAYS), Alec Mapa, and Donna Mills’s real-life daughter, Chloe Mills, star alongside two newcomers, Travis Burns and Taylor Ann Thompson. Look for the It’s a Wonderful Lifetime’s full slate of movies and premiere dates in the coming weeks.
Roger Howarth, General Hospital
Roger Howarth (Austin) is working the festival circuit for his new Independent feature, What Doesn’t Float, which opens in Los Angeles on October 6. Jon Lindstrom, General Hospital
Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) is moonlighting…as a writer. The actor just finished a novel that fans can soon get their hands on titled, Hollywood Hustle.

Jackée Harry, DAYS
If you can’t get enough of Jackée Harry as Paulina on DAYS, get ready to see not one, not two, but three movies with her on Lifetime Movie Network — As Luck Would Have It. It’s the first in a three-part series in which she plays Gabbi Luck — “a retired professor turned amateur sleuth uses her background in criminology to help solve murders,” according to the network’s official site.
Rome Flynn, B&B
If you miss Rome Flynn as Zende on B&B, you can catch him in Season 2 of With Love as Santiago Zayas, which is streaming now on Amazon Prime.
Sasha Calle, Y&R
Get ready to see Sasha Calle, who played Lola on Y&R, in an indie feature called In The Summers now that shooting has wrapped in New Mexico and first-look photos have dropped. It’s a story about the Latine sisters who visit their reckless father every summer. He creates magic for them, but in reality, he’s fighting addiction. There hasn’t been a release date mentioned but stay tuned.
Nathan Fillion, OLTL
Nathan Fillion, who brought Joey Buchanan to life on the now-defunct ABC soap, will be taking the character he voiced in animation to the big screen. He’s one of the latest additions to Superman: Legacy, where he’ll be playing Guy Gardner, AKA The Green Lantern.
Kyle Lowder, DAYS
The actor who had been playing Rex Brady announced that he’s moved to Reno, where he’s now a co-anchor for the morning local CBS news affiliate — KTVN 2 News.

Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa, Days of our Lives) joins Matthew Morrison (ex-Glee, ex-Adam, As the World Turns) for Great American Family’s Paris Christmas Waltz, part of The Christmas Waltz movie franchise, which has now moved to that channel from Hallmark. The powerhouse team behind the original and this sequel is none other than Janeen and Michael Damian (Danny, Young and the Restless), who will write and direct, respectively. The original starred Lacey Chabert (ex-Bianca, All My Children). The sequel was shot on location in Paris. No air date has been given as yet.
Lisa LoCicero, GH
Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) announced on Twitter that her somewhat scary film, Organ Trail, can now be viewed on streamers like Amazon and Apple.
A Martinez, DAYS, GH, B&B, Santa Barbara
Beloved soap alum A Martinez recently shared that on July 30, six episodes of Season 2 of Dark Winds drop on AMC and AMC+ in which you can catch him as Valencia County Sheriff Gordo Sena. One of his most beloved soap characters was SB’s favorite lawman, Cruz Castillo.
Max Ehrich, Y&R
Max Ehrich, who played Fen on Y&R, announced that his film, Southern Gospel, is now available to rent, stream or buy on most major streaming services.

Alison Sweeney, who is missed as Sami on DAYS, joins Cameron Mathison (Drew, GH) and Barbara Niven (ex-Liz, One Life to Live) in an all-new Hannah Swensen Mystery. The new installment, Carrot Cake Murder, premieres on Friday, May 19, at 9 p.m. ET. on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. And no worries — this won’t be the last.
A newly announced film has been announced based on “A Zest for Death: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.” Fans can expect the return of Hannah’s mother, Delores (Barbara Niven), and her friend, Norman (Gabriel Hogan), to help the sleuth with her latest mystery.
James Hyde, Y&R/Passions
Hyde, who was recently killed off as the ultimate bad guy Jeremy Stark in Genoa City, can be seen now on Netflix in Season 3 of La Reina del Sur, also known as Queen of the South. It originally aired on Telemundo.
James, who played Sam, got a bit of a Passions reunion as he co-stars in the Lindsay Hartley (ex-Theresa; ex-Sam, GH)-directed holiday film called Christmas on Air opposite Denise Richard (Shauna). No word of when it will be on, but definitely keep an eye out for it.
Justin Hartley, Y&R
The actor who was beloved as Adam Newman as well as for his role on the entire run of This Is Us is also going to be getting a new show with a to-die-for debut. His show, Tracker, brings the handsome star back to CBS as his show takes its first bow right after the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, 2024. If that’s not a show of confidence, we’re not sure what is.

The Port Charles fave revealed her guest appearance on the CBSX hit NCIS with a stunning image of herself with series star and longtime heartthrob Wilmer Valderrama. The episode was slated to air on May 8, 2023.

Josh Swickard continues his lucky streak with Christmas movies in the upcoming A Wine Country Christmas, where he is joined by Y&R’s Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) and B&B’s Annika Noelle (Hope Logan Spencer). In other news, Swickard’s multi-talented wife, Lauren, landed streaming rights on Amazon’s Freevee for the 5-episode Yellowstone-esque bi-lingual western series, Casa Grande, starring DAYS alum Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail Deveraux DiMera) and Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s James Marsters (Spike). It will follow the stories of the everyday lives and struggles of undocumented workers and the wealthy landowners who profit from their labor. The series will premiere on Monday, May 1.

Brando Corbin fans rejoice! You can see Johnny Wactor opposite Alec Baldwin (ex-Billy Aldrich on The Doctors) and the late Anne Heche (Vicky and Marley Love on Another World) in the action-adventure film Supercell. Watch now in limited theaters or video on demand on popular video platforms.

Jackée Harry (Paulina Price) shared that she’ll be appearing on Lifetime’s Every Breath She Takes on March 25. Also in the movie are her TV son-in-law, Lamon Archey (Eli Grant), and One Life to Live alums Tuc Watkins (ex-David Vickers) and Dan Gauthier (ex-Kevin Buchanan).
Victor Webster, DAYS
Victor Webster appears in the 2017 film, A Harvest Wedding, which will re-air on the Hallmark channel on March 28 at 6 pm ET. You can catch it again on April 20 at 2 pm ET.
Alison Sweeney, DAYS
Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) joins another soap veteran, Victor Webster (ex-Nicholas Alamain), in Hallmark Channel’s The Wedding Veil Journey premiering on April 1. The following day, April 2, marks the premiere of The Wedding Veil Expectations on the channel starring Sweeney. The actress also appears in The Wedding Veil Inspiration, which premieres on April 19 on Hallmark.

Jen Lilley joins Glee’s Matthew Morrison in Paris Christmas Waltz, a sequel to Hallmark’s 2020 film, The Christmas Waltz. The movie tells the story of a recently unemployed Emma (played by Lilley) who meets a professional dancer (Morrison) who has lost his love of dance. The novice and the pro become the toast of Paris.
Molly Burnett, DAYS
Fans can see Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie Jonas) on the current season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Detective Grace Muncy.

The Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer was been greenlit for Season 2, which means Michael Grazaidei should be back in action. The streaming channel announced it will be rolled out in two parts. The first lands on Thursday, July 6, and the second part of the 10-episode season rolls out a month later on Thursday, August 3. The new season will follow Michael Connelly’s fourth book in his The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Fifth Witness.
