Malcolm Winters didn’t get to experience daughter Lily’s early years on The Young and the Restless as her dad, but in real life, Shemar Moore, Malcolm’s portrayer, is celebrating his own daughter’s birthday! Frankie has turned 1 year old!
“Our lil Baby Girl is a whole ONE today…Daddy Loves his lil Frankie” Moore posted along with heart and celebration emojis. Frankie’s mom is Moore’s partner, Jesiree Dizon. The doting dad exploded onto the Y&R scene 30 years ago as the estranged half-brother of Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John).
Neil and Malcolm’s reconciliation was nearly wrecked after Malcolm mistakenly believed that Neil’s wife Dru (Victoria Rowell) wanted him to make love to her. That brought the paternity of Lily into question. The secret didn’t come out for many years later when tests revealed that Malcolm — not Neil — was Lily’s dad.
Speaking of Lily, her portrayer, Christel Khalil chimed in with well wishes for the birthday girl: “She has your eyes!!! Happy bday Frankie!” along with heart and high-five emojis. Bryton James (Devon) opted to use cheering and a heart emoji to express his feelings on Frankie’s big day.
Michael Beach, Moore’s S.W.A.T. co-star, who plays Leroy Henderson, the childhood pal of Moore’s character Hondo, posted: “Happy birthday Frankie” followed by cake and gift emojis.
Moore is taking S.W.A.T. into its final season. The show was initially axed last year but then a surprise reversal occurred, which thrilled the actor and the rest of the show’s cast and crew. “Ayyeee!!!!! We did it #SWATFAM!!! [S.W.A.T.] is coming back for a 7th and Final season with 13 Episodes!!!” Moore shared on Instagram. “Thank you to all of you for the continued and amazing support!! Let’s go.”
