Time flies when your character pivots between professions, companies, and women. On The Young and the Restless, Sean Dominic’s Nate Hastings transitioned from doctor to corporate shark. And while Nate’s currently single, he’s spent time with Amanda, Elena, and Victoria. The actor recently reflected on his five years on the number one soap in daytime.
Dominic (find out how he was cast Nate here) marked five years on Y&R with a message he posted on X, formerly Twitter. “5 years today since walking onto this iconic set. @YandR_CBS Thank you to all you loyal fans around the globe. Without you there’s no Y&R.”
When Dominic debuted on the show — on April 10, 2019 — Nate still followed in his mother’s footsteps (find out what’s going on with Tonya Williams, who played Nate’s mom Olivia here). He was a doctor who treated the likes of Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan), Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). After an injury sustained in a fight with Devon (Bryton James), Nate quit medicine in favor of the cutthroat corporate world.
Now that his relationships with Elena (Brytni Sarpy) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are over, Nate’s focusing on life back at Chancellor-Winters, where there is a Game of Thrones-like atmosphere currently keeping everyone on their toes. Other than that, Nate doesn’t have much going on, but the quiet might not last much longer. In the comments of his anniversary post, Dominic replied to a fan wondering where Nate is. “Here good brother. He should be coming in with a story line soon!”
Soap Hub congratulates Sean Dominic on his big anniversary with The Young and the Restless. And we look forward to seeing what trouble Nate causes or experiences soon.
