Sally Made A Big Decision On September 3 Young and the Restless…But Was It Right?

Sally told Adam she didn’t see the need for them to talk ever again on The Young and the Restless September 3 episode. She also told Chelsea that she and Adam needed to work through things, which confused Chelsea. Is Sally doing the right thing?

Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together

After being Team Sally (Courtney Hope) for so long after he and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) slept together, it seems as if Adam (Mark Grossman) may have feelings for Chelsea. Of course, if Sally remembers, the last time they broke up, Adam did it for her own good. We can’t help but wonder if Adam perhaps said he had love for Chelsea…for Sally’s good…to “save” her from him.

Adam can’t help sabotaging the best things in his life because he doesn’t feel he deserves love. We also notice that Sally tends to do the same thing in her life, making her and Adam such a great match (if he can not cheat). Of course, Adam again pushing Sally away for her own good won’t win him any points with her.

Sally firmly told Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that she and Adam were through…for good this time. Chloe was happy, which frustrated Sally. We didn’t buy her words.

Let The Games Begin

Then, there was Adam. When Chelsea asked what Sally meant, he looked slightly hurt because Chelsea seemed so dead set against anyone other than Billy (Jason Thompson). However, he also commented that Sally needed to think there was something more between him and Chelsea for Sally to be able to let go.

We’re not quite buying that Adam suddenly loves Chelsea again, especially given how much he wanted to talk to Sally when he saw her at Chancellor Park. As for Sally, is she making the right choice to be done with Adam? Probably. Sadly, we do believe these two love each other, but they simply can’t get out of their own way to stick together.

Maybe Sally should take time to process her breakup, but who knows? Perhaps throwing herself into work is just what she needs. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
