It remains a mystery as to what personal life Matt Miller, played by Robert Parucha, Victor Newman’s brother on The Young and the Restless, has developed since leaving Genoa City. However, we know Parucha has a new family member about whom he’s over the moon!
“I rarely post,” Parucha, who originated the role of Matt in 1985 on Y&R, shared on Instagram, “but couldn’t resist sharing the joy of our granddaughter Sloane Marie Graner. Such a blessing form God! Katie and Kevin are already displaying amazing parenting skills and are tired and happy.
“My wife Linda AKA ‘Nana’ is sharing her wisdom to all and love toward the little one. It takes a village and we love that!” the actor adds.
As veteran Y&R fans recall, Matt is Victor’s younger brother. When their destitute mother, Cora Miller (the late Dorothy McGuire) felt she could only provide for one of her sons, she left firstborn Christian (AKA Victor Newman) at an orphanage on Christmas Eve.
Christian grew up and became a wealthy businessman, taking on a new name: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Parucha last reprised Matt a little over four years ago in honor of Braeden’s 40th anniversary on Y&R. Recently, the top-rated serial was renewed for another four years. Soap Hub congratulates Parucha on the birth of his beautiful granddaughter.
