Will A Quick Scheme Lead to A Slow Burn Affair for Diane and Billy on The Young and the Restless?

The Young and the Restless issued its weekly spoilers and there was one line that had us going “hmmm…”. Teasers show Billy and Diane are teaming up to take on a new scheme. We have to wonder if this will lead to something more. Will Jack soon experience déjà vu if his brother and wife get way, way too close? 

Will History Repeat Itself?

The last time Billy (Jason Thompson) was close to one of Jack’s (Peter Bergman) ladies was way back when he was living in the Chancellor mansion and sleeping with Phyllis (played by Gina Tognoni at the time). They got close and crossed all the lines, and it nearly cost Billy his entire family.

You’d think Billy-Boy would learn his lesson. You’d think he’d try to stay on the up and up for the rest of his life to make sure he stays in Jack’s good graces. And, so far, he has (kind of), but that all could change at lightning speed if he and Diane (Susan Walters) get too close for comfort. 

A Down and Dirty Affair

Picture this: Billy and Diane start working together to take down The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). They start meeting in secret to keep it all on the down-low. They can’t risk anyone — including Jack — knowing what they are plotting. It’s huge. It’s dangerous. This is not a plot they want anyone to know about for their own safety. 

Eventually, those secret meetings bring Billy and Diane closer than they could ever imagine, and when they roll out their plan, they meet up to celebrate. The champagne gets flowing, and it all goes downhill from there. They get drunk and messy and end up in bed together! 

Will they see the error of their ways in the cold light of the morning? Sure. But only for a hot minute. Their spark will be too strong to resist, resulting in them betraying Jack over and over again until they’re caught red-handed! Poor Jack won’t know what hit him when he learns his brother has stolen another woman right out from underneath him.
