Paxton Mishkind, who plays Johnny on Young and the Restless, has attended the show’s fan event and has met many of the show’s supporters. Recently, the actor was out and about and bumped into one of his favorite on-screen personalities, a well-known TV funnyman.
“You never know who you might meet in a random antique store and then take a low-quality photo with…” Mishkind began his Instagram post. “Pete Davidson is a cool guy and one of my favorites. What a great day!”
Davidson hit the SNL scene in 2014 and is known for his impersonations of Andrew Cuomo and Count Chocula as well as the characters Stu, Lil Pump, Aladdin, and Chad. His upcoming projects include roles in Riff Raff and Wizards!
There’s another soap opera/SNL connection that recently made headlines. Kim Matula (ex-Hope, Bold and the Beautiful) has been cast to play Jane Curtin, one of the original “Not Ready for Primetime Players” in the SNL movie titled SNL 1975.
Perhaps Paxton Mishkind will someday host the variety program that’s set to celebrate its 50th anniversary next year? All My Children stars Susan Lucci (Erica) and Kelly Ripa (Hayley) have hosted SNL in the past.
