Noah’s only thought on The Young and the Restless is getting Sienna back from Matt Clark. However, his mother Sharon has been pushing for details on how the two got together. Prior to her son winding up in the hospital, she’d been under the impression that he was engaged and planning a future with Allie. The assumption has been that Sienna wasn’t the only one having an affair, but Noah insists that his lady love didn’t wreck a happy home. Here’s what he’s shared so far.

Key Takeaways

  • Why Noah and Allie’s romance ended.
  • Noah compares his relationship with Sienna to Nick and Sharon’s love.

Why Did Noah and Allie Break Up?

With Allie (Kelsey Wang) still off-screen on Y&R, we only have one side of this break-up story. But according to Noah (Lucas Adams), the end of their relationship was inevitable. He told Sharon (Sharon Case) on December 29’s episode that it was long distance that did them in. Though the couple left Genoa City with an eye toward getting married and building a life together, things started falling apart while they were in Europe.

Allie was working in Paris; he was making a name for himself in London. Not only were they in different countries, they were separated by the English Channel. The couple were also working opposing schedules. Allie’s busiest time was during the regular work week. She was only able to see Noah on the weekends, when she’d take the train to come visit him. But there was a problem: Noah was busiest on the weekends.

Eventually, the two had to face the fact that life was pulling them in different directions. Noah admitted to Sharon that he chose not to share his relationship troubles with her because she was going through enough without adding that to her plate. He and Allie were on shaky ground until finally the ground broke from under them and they had to part ways.

Noah told his mother that Sienna (Tamara Braun) had nothing to do with the break-up. Though he got in the middle of Sienna’s marriage, she wasn’t the other woman in his romance. As he put it, Sienna isn’t a homewrecker.

Noah Expresses His Love for Sienna

While Noah says Sienna isn’t why he and Allie aren’t together, that doesn’t mean his choices haven’t caused a heap of drama. Their romance starting as an affair has caused nothing but trouble for him, her, and his family.

Noah couldn’t have known that she was married to the very man that tormented his parents for years. But Matt’s (Roger Howarth) vendetta now involves extortion, and potentially murder, if he errs on the side of fatally targeting Noah.

But for the younger Newman, none of what’s happening can stand in the face of his feelings regarding Sienna. He compared their love with his parents’ romance. To Noah, he and Sienna have a bond so deep that it can withstand not only the test of time, but also the pressure of extremely traumatic experiences.

Considering Sienna’s being held hostage and knocked unconscious, this entire situation with Matt is certain to try whether or not Noah’s right about their love.
