Michelle Stafford never fails to entertain The Young and the Restless viewers as Phyllis Summers. Whether the fiery redhead is going after rivals like Diane or Christine, or if she’s sharing more intimate moments with ex-husbands Nick or Danny, Stafford is always must-see TV. Now, she’s teasing an upcoming story!

The Phoenix Rises

“That’s the week….” Stafford recently posted on Instagram along with a photograph taken in the parking lot of Television City, home to Y&R since its inception. “I think you guys are gonna like what’s coming.”

Could Stafford be teasing a story for her character — or someone else? Let’s go with the former. Given Phyllis’s ties to so many different characters in Genoa City, there are a myriad of possibilities as to what is coming up next.

Recently, we’ve seen Phyllis spar with Sharon (Sharon Case). The two women have vied for the affections of Nick (Joshua Morrow) over the years, but, more recently, Sharon was miffed that Phyllis was talking to Faith, Nick and Sharon’s daughter.

If Nick and Phyllis were to reunite, she’d be spending even more time with Faith (Reylynn Caster). That would not sit well with Sharon!

We’ve also seen Phyllis grilling Heather (Vail Bloom) about her future and her relationship with Phyllis’s son, Daniel (Michael Graziadei). Could you imagine Phyllis going into full mama bear (or mama-bear-in-law) mode should Heather and Daniel tie the knot? Phyllis is fiercely protective of her family, after all.

While Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Michael Damian (Danny) are currently out of town (watch for the two to make an appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful next month), Phyllis may have lingering feelings for Danny. We’re never quite sure if it’s Phyllis’s love for Danny or hatred of Christine that drives Phyllis. Either way, she manages to find a way to drive a wedge between the duo.

Phyllis also has a long-running rival in Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters). Whenever these two spar, the fireworks explode! Sure, Phyllis and Jack (Peter Bergman) are no longer married, but she will always want what’s best for her ex, and Phyllis doesn’t believe that Diane is good for anyone!

Stay tuned to Y&R to see what Michelle Stafford is teasing!
