Lily’s anger toward Cane doesn’t have her thinking clearly on The Young and the Restless. She’s considering going along with Victor’s latest scheme against her ex-husband. However, it’s a decision that Lily might want to reconsider.

Key Takeaways

  • Victor’s latest plot against Cane involves Lily and the twins.
  • Victor wants Cane to believe that Lily and the kids have been kidnapped.
  • Lily seems willing to participate with Victor’s plan.
  • Lily and Victor’s past deals haven’t gone so well.

Lily’s Deal With The Devil

Victor (Eric Braeden) has come up with the ultimate plan to take down Cane (Billy Flynn) and regain control of Newman Enterprises. While Cane loves money and power, his family is more important. Although Lily (Christel Khalil) and the twins have turned their backs on him, he’d go to the ends of the earth for them.

Unfortunately, Lily doesn’t feel the same about her ex-husband. She still has a lot of anger because of the Aristotle Dumas situation and believes he needs to be taught a lesson.

So when Victor comes up with his fake kidnapping ruse, Lily will be tempted to play along. However, Lily might want to think long and hard before agreeing to Victor’s plan.

As seen in the past, whenever anyone teams with Victor, it always ends in disaster for the other person. Who could forget when Lily tried to broker a deal with Victor for her to take over Chancellor? The Moustache double-crossed Lily and ended up giving Chancellor to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).

While Lily thinks Victor’s plan against Cane will hurt her ex-husband, it might be the opposite. She might be the one who comes out on the losing end.

Hurting Her Family

As Victor’s plan gets underway, Lily’s brother Devon (Bryton James) is facing his own crisis. Devon and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) son Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark) was kidnapped by Mariah (Camryn Grimes); A fact that’s currently unknown by Lily and Victor.

Devon’s already distraught about Dominic and he doesn’t need any added stress. But that could happen if Cane shares his concerns about Lily’s disappearance.

Devon is protective of his sister, so if he thinks she’s in danger, he’s going to help search for her. But the sibling reunion will be anything but joyous when Devon learns it was an elaborate scheme concocted by Victor.

Although Devon’s been supportive of Lily throughout the Cane ordeal, her and Victor’s plan is something he can’t condone. If Lily teams with Victor, she might run the risk of destroying her relationship with Devon.
