Ever since Sheila Carter showed up on The Bold and the Beautiful, viewers of The Young and the Restless have wondered when (or if) Lauren would learn that her nemesis was alive and well (minus a toe these days) in Los Angeles. On the on the February 14 episode of Y&R, Lauren actually brought up Sheila when she and Nikki were talking, and that seemingly offhanded comment could be something major.
Crossover Terror Reigns
Many Y&R fans had to suspend belief because Lauren (Tracey Bregman) even showed up at a Forrester fashion show with Esther (Kate Linder), and nobody thought to alert her that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) was alive. After all, Lauren thought Sheila was dead, but nothing has ever been explained about the naughty nurse showing up in LA just fine (and looking like herself, to boot).
Today, when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) talked with Lauren about Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) attempts to terrorize her, Lauren reminded Nikki she knew all about something like that due to Sheila’s past reign of terror.

Of course, Nikki stood up to Jordan, calling her and telling her to come to the ranch and try to break in. That reminded us of the times Lauren also gathered her strength and faced off with the evil Sheila.
Overall, we can’t help but hope this mention of the notorious baddie means that Sheila will show up in Genoa City sooner rather than later (refresh your memory on her time in GC here). This type of B&B/Y&R crossover would be huge for viewers. If it’s not in the works, it certainly should be. At a minimum, Lauren should find out that Sheila is alive and have some scenes where she and Michael (Christian Le Blanc) deal with the worry that Sheila might target Lauren again.
Sure, right now Genoa City has to deal with the terror of Jordan, but bringing Sheila back into the mix would be an epic move, and we’re here for it. How would you feel about Sheila on Y&R again? Let us know in the comments below.
