Both Nikki and Abby begged Victor to tell them where his younger daughter would be getting married on The Young and the Restless‘ October 21 episode. We understand that Nikki is only the bride’s stepmother. But Abby is the actual bride! And she’s letting Victor plan the whole thing? She doesn’t know what shoes to bring! Or, and this is no small detail, where to invite her guests. But, hey, Victor is Victor. His plan is always best. Victor is pretending to do this as a delightful surprise for Abby. But what if it’s all really a horrible surprise…for Billy?
We Are All Gathered Here Today
Victor (Eric Braeden) doesn’t just like to win. Victor likes to win with a lot of people watching. And what better way to get a crowd than to gather all the Abbotts and all the Newmans together for an occasion like Abby’s (Melissa Ordway — who made a big change) wedding — which he can then usurp for a bigger occasion. Like reminding the world that Victor is always right.
Abby is the perfect tool for Victor to exploit. After all, she is a Newman and an Abbott. All the people Victor wishes to humiliate — Billy (Jason Thompson), Jack (Peter Bergman), and Diane (Susan Walters) — are bound to make an appearance at her wedding, and Victor will have them right where he wants them.

If Anyone Can Show Just Cause
Abby and Devon (Bryton James) can have their little ceremony. Yes, yes, yes. The bride will be beautiful, the groom will be handsome, the ring bearer will be adorable and not at all confused about how it is that he ended up with four parents.
And then we’ll get to the most important part of any wedding. No, not the newlyweds’ first dance. Not the tossing of the bouquet. Not the open bar. The most important part of this wedding will be the bride’s father making a toast. Listen up, everybody. Here is how Victor has won. Now, all clap…for him.
