The Young and the Restless 13,000th episode airs today on CBS. It’s a huge milestone, and for it, the show is having Devon and Abby’s wedding, which allowed much of the cast to gather for the blessed event. Joshua Morrow, who portrays Nick Newman, did a fun game called “Marry, Kill, and…Make Sandwiches” with several of the cast members, and the results are laugh-out loud funny.

Marry, Kill, Make Sandwiches

Morrow rightly noted that most characters on the soap have killed somebody, which is a fair thing to point out. However, that didn’t stop the cast from recommending characters that their characters would kill. A few of them had some truly unexpected plans, though.

First up was Haley Erin. She suggested that Claire marry Kyle (Michael Mealor). Of course, the kill part was Audra (Zuleyka Silver) “for sport.” That’s cold. She seemed not to get the whole “sandwiches” part of the equation, though. She had Claire making sandwiches with her mom, Victoria (Amelia Heinle). That wouldn’t work since “sandwiches” is a euphemism for spending some grown-up time together in the bedroom.

Mealor had three names right off the bat, but he didn’t say which was which for Kyle. Summer (Allison Lanier), Noah (Rory Gibson), and Faith (Reylynn Caster) were his picks, but he left it up to us to decide which Kyle would marry, kill, and make sandwiches with. What do you think?

Christel Khalil (Lily) offended both Morrow and Jason Thompson (Billy) right off the bat by saying, “There’s no good guy on the show.” She came up with Lily marrying Jack (Peter Bergman), killing Devon (Bryton James), and making sandwiches with Nick. As for Thompson, he said Billy would kill Nick, make sandwiches with Lily, and marry Sally (Courtney Hope), Sharon (Sharon Case), and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), which is totally feasible in daytime.

Sean Dominic was stone-cold when he named Nate’s three. He’d kill Abby (Melissa Ordway), marry Victoria, and make sandwiches with Audra.

Susan Walters said Diane would marry Jack (Peter Bergman), kill Phyllis, and then for making sandwiches, we thought perhaps she’d say Cameron (Linden Ashby) since Walters and Ashby are married in real life. Instead, she caught up with a surprised-looking Eric Braeden and said Diane would make sandwiches with Victor.
