Joshua Morrow is not an actor who spends his waking hours posting on social media, so posts from him are like rare gifts to fans. The Young and the Restless veteran, who plays Nicholas Newman, the son of Victor and Nikki, is a man of mystery in many respects. Now, however, he’s sent a special message to his loyal fans tied to his longevity with the show.

“I just wanted to throw a big thanks for the outpouring of support and love from my 30th!” Morrow posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “It’s been truly a magical ride and my deep appreciation for you guys is massive. Thanks for sticking with me and your boy Nick. I love playing him and it’s been an incredible honor! #YR.”

The actor chatted with Soap Hub about his milestone anniversary and the show spotlighting Nicholas with a clip-filled episode. “They made a point of showing us the clips while we were having flashbacks, which I thought was very cool,” Joshua Morrow said. “You get to see a bunch of clips that I haven’t seen in decades. It was cool, man.”

One part of the episode had viewers shaking their heads was how did Faith (Reylynn Carter) appeared in Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) drawing as she wasn’t even a twinkle in Nick’s eye when Cassie was on her deathbed and passed away. (Read our take on that matter here.)

Morrow’s supporters weighed in on his tweet. “Happy 30th Anniversary on Y&R, Joshua!” posted Donald Peebles, Jr. “I have been of yours and Nick from your first day. Nick is one of my favorite characters, and I grew up loving Shick (Sharon and Nick) as a teen and young adult.”

“We wouldn’t want anyone else playing, Nick,” writes Toni Veltri. “Congrats, Joshua, on an amazing 30 years!”

Follower Wendy adds: “Love seeing your comment here, Joshua. Your legacy and is ongoing still with Y&R is quite admirable as you’ve personally had a busy family life and yet still manage to learn your scripts for the filming. Congratulations again.”
