Jack finds himself torn between two women on The Young and the Restless. The Jabot CEO is comforting is ex-wife Nikki, who is upset with her husband Victor. While Jack is being his usual caring self, his wife Diane thinks he’s being gullible.

Key Takeaways

  • Nikki is seeking Jack’s support amid her latest trouble with Victor.
  • While Jack is sympathetic toward Nikki, Diane isn’t.
  • Diane and Jack argued about Nikki’s trustworthiness and morals.

Diane’s Harsh Truth

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) marriage is on the rocks yet again. His plot to use Lily (Christel Khalil) and the twins to retaliate against Cane (Billy Flynn) has upset the Newman matriarch. Needing someone to talk to, Nikki turned to her ex-husband and friend Jack (Peter Bergman).

Jack listened as an emotional Nikki expressed her concern that Victor’s gone too far. The Jabot CEO comforted his ex and pulled her in for a hug, which was witnessed by his wife Diane (Susan Walters). Later, after Nikki left, Diane didn’t hold back in her opinion of her.

While Jack was sympathetic to everything Nikki was going through, Diane wasn’t so compassionate. Diane said this was Nikki’s classic move of playing victim. She then called Nikki Victor’s enabler and how she stands by while he continues committing multiple crimes.

But what ignited Diane’s fury the most was how Nikki is still relying on Jack to save her. After Jack risked his sobriety to help Nikki, Diane felt that should’ve been the end of them. Yet, once again, Nikki’s taking advantage of Jack and he’s falling for it.

Listen To The Mrs.

While it would be in Jack’s best interest to listen to his wife, odds are he won’t. Jack will once again play Nikki’s hero by trying to get Chancellor and Newman away from Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

Jack’s actions would be a huge gain for The Newmans, but it might cost him in the long run. Diane won’t be happy that Jack saved Nikki once again, and this will cause huge issues for their marriage.

Aside from his marriage, Jack might also put his company at risk. Instead of being grateful to Jack, Victor will be up to his old tricks in trying to take down Jabot.

With the Newman and Jabot war continuing, Nikki will be caught in the middle, and the question is who will she support? Will she defend Jack against her husband? Or will she stick by Victor’s side as he tries to take down Jabot?
