It’s been a while since Brytni Sarpy appeared on The Young and the Restless. Dr. Elena Dawson pops in from time to time, and it looks like she may be showing up in Genoa City sometime soon.
Is There A Doctor in the House?
On October 1, Sarpy shared a post to her Instagram stories that got fans talking. In them, the actress was at the Y&R studio. She wrote, “just popping in to say hello to the fam…,” including a tearful eyes emoji and a quiet emoji. That could have meant she was just in the neighborhood and wanted to say hello.

However, the next story showed Sarpy next to a sign that said, “13,0000 Episodes!!!!! Brytni Sarpy. Welcome back — we miss you!!!” Sarpy wrote across the top of the video clip, “missed you too,” with a crying emoji. That seems to indicate that Elena may be back on canvas in time for the Y&R 13,000th episode, which will air on November 13.
Even more exciting for fans of Sarpy and Hayley Erin (Claire) is the next throwback photo Sarpy shared. These two starred together at General Hospital as Valerie and Kiki. Across the photo of the two, Sarpy wrote, “9 years later. Is it… Valerie and Kiki?… Elena and Claire?…”
