On the March 31 episode of The Young and the Restless, Victoria told Claire that there used to be a truce between Jack and Victor that fell apart when Jack dared save Victor’s wife. This back-and-forth has been going on for four decades now. But we know of a person who could put an end to it — once and for all.
The Mother of All Favors
Victor (Eric Braeden) wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for a heart transplant he received in 2009. That heart came from a braindead Colleen Carlton, daughter of Traci (Beth Maitland) and Brad (Dom Diamont). Colleen drowned.
After she was poisoned. By Jack’s (Peter Bergman) insane ex-wife, Patti. Victor brought her to town to torment Jack, so Colleen’s death was partially Victor’s fault. And yet, when given the choice to say no, Traci (Beth Maitland) still went ahead and gave the son of a bitch her precious baby girl’s heart. Yes, yes, yes, Traci is a saint. Everybody knows that. But that was still pretty extreme.

Quid Pro Quit
Victor is always grateful for his family. Is he ever grateful for the Abbott family? You know, the one that’s responsible for him still being alive? What would Victor do if Traci came to him and said, “Yo, Vic, listen up. Remember how you got my daughter killed, and I still let you have her heart because I am an angel brought down to earth to save the rest of you idiots? How about you return the favor by laying off my brother?
Oh, and while we’re at it, lay off my nephew, too. Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Claire’s (Hayley Erin) relationship is going to implode eventually any day now, just like it did with your other granddaughter. So give it a rest. Or else I’ll reach into your chest and pull out Colleen’s heart with my bare hands, ala Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It’s the least you owe me.”
