What does one do just months after winning a Daytime Emmy award? Well, The Young and the Restless star, Michelle Stafford, visited Disneyworld, for the D23 Expo 2024.
I’m Going To Disneyworld
Sure, we don’t know that Stafford went to see The Mouse to celebrate her win, but it’s a nice sentiment. She took herself and her children, Natalia and Jameson (check out his fun reaction to her treat here), to Disney’s California Adventure and Disneyworld last weekend.
The actress, who portrays Phyllis on Y&R, shared Instagram stories of the family enjoying rides like Radiator Springs Racers and The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure (which got stuck briefly during their ride).
She also shared photos of herself enjoying some typical Disney things. In one old-school selfie, she wore golden, sparkly Minnie Mouse ears. She was looking off to the side with a wry look on her face.
And, of course, they hopped on The Incredicoaster as “thrill seekers,” which you can see in her Instagram post below.
In another, Stafford showed she was just like all of us at Disneyworld. She hugged Mickie Mouse himself while sporting a matching Minnie Mouse golden sparkly backpack. She had a joyful look on her face. Mickey wrapped her in a big embrace.
“Thank you @disneyland for the MOST incredible weekend ❤️❤️❤️ #disneyland #d23expo2024”
The actress visited the venue during the D23 Expo 2024. During the event, Disney Parks announced major projects, including new Cars and villains installations and Magic Kingdom. Animal Kingdom will get a new land called Tropical Americas, featuring Esperanza, Encanto, and the Exciting Adventures of Indiana Jones. Hollywood Studios will get a Monsters, Inc. expansion.
Plus, Disney’s California Adventure gets an Avengers Campus expansion with two new rides and an innovative Avatar-themed attraction. It sounds like Stafford and her family picked an exciting time to go to Disneyland! We’re thrilled she shared a bit of the magic with us.
