Most people can admit, 2020 was nothing like they expected when one year ago they sat in anticipation of a brand-new decade. Single mom Michelle Stafford is one of them, but she’s already working on taking charge of 2021.
Michelle Stafford Welcomes 2021
Stafford took to Instagram to tell us how she plans to do it. She used an old photo of herself to help demonstrate.
“Short hair!!! You know what this pic means… it means I have almost finished cleaning out my entire office and organizing every single bit of paper and tax info and past tax info and bills and as you can see, old pictures…everything!!
“While we were staying at home months ago (although we still are) I was very jealous of all of those people who are able to do this (organize) as I was looking over my children’s shoulders trying to just keep them in school and keep them interested in learning, both of them, just me, doing this alone. It’s not a complaint at all but I didn’t get to do anything for myself and by the time it was over I was spent and then it’s time to make dinner and bla bla bla…everything kind of crumbled around me. You parents know!
“Recently I consulted the help of the brilliant @jocelyn.stuart the wife of the great JPS! @japastu She is a professional organizer along with Melissa. I’ll tag her Later. If you all want your life to go smoother I highly suggest having somebody help you organize!! Trust me, it is money well, VERY well spent. It is the perfect way to start a SUCCESSFUL year!! #2021 #changeyourlife #anorganizedspacemeansanorganizedmind pic #circa2000 #wbw.”
Yes, many parents can certainly relate, and yes, it’s time we do some things for ourselves as 2021 draws so near. Whether it’s organizing or some personal online shopping — or even a trip as the light at the end of the tunnel shines brighter, let’s make this an amazing 2021 for all.
