Here’s What Young and the Restless’ Brytni Sarpy Is Doing Now

When she’s not acting, The Young and the Restless’ resident doctor Elena Dawson’s portrayer, Brytni Sarpy, can be seen sharing poignant news on her social media pages. While many of her posts are her posing for the camera or sharing clips of her latest film and television projects, she also revealed another side to her personal interests: dancing.

She Physically Pushes Herself

It seems like just yesterday when Sarpy left the role of Valerie Spencer on General Hospital and went on to play Dr. Elena Dawson on Y&R., But that was in 2019, and in the years since, she’s also appeared on the show The Haves and Have Nots, as well as the films The Wrong Husband (2019) and Prince of Detroit (2023) among others. Although Elena seems to have disappeared from Genoa City, Dawson’s name remains in the Y&R credits, so fans continue to hold out hope that someone will require her expertise soon.

That being said, Sarpy continues to share interesting tidbits on social media. On July 8, she posted a video on Instagram with the simple caption, “Dance therp…🕺🏽.” We can only assume she meant “dance therapy,” as the video is of her with a group of others dancing together in what looks like a dance class setting. Clearly out of breath and sweating, Sarpy does not look like she intends to stop any time soon, but she continues to inspire her followers by pushing through. The fans loved her relaxed look as one responded, “Feeling relaxed looks good on you @brytni 💕.”

Her Dancing Got The Conversation Rolling

Clearly, Sarpy’s years of dance training have paid off and inspired her Instagram followers. One who was very moved wrote, “Being present and self-care is characterized as developing deep love for self and others. Keep going! Love the clips!” A fellow dancer chimed in with, “Get it Bryt! Can’t wait to dance with you again.”

And while the fans were thrilled to see Sarpy dancing more, another follower responded about the benefits, stating, “Dancing is good therapy!!❤💪🏽💃🏽.” Overall, Sarpy’s fan base was thrilled to see her engaging with them, and we’re all just wondering when Y&R will bring her back to the forefront where she belongs!
