As previously reported, Thad Luckinbill is returning to his role as J.T. on The Young and the Restless (YR)! The actor’s start date has been revealed — and we also get a first look!
J.T. will be seen again in Genoa City starting Tuesday, December 12. Soap Hub first broke the news of Luckinbill coming back and now Y&R’s confirmed it on their Instagram page as you can see in the post below.
The actor originated the role as J.T. Hellstrom in 1999. Initially, he started out as Billy’s rival when the two men, along with Raul, Brittany, and Mac were part of the younger set on the show.
Over the years, the bad boy became more of a good guy. In fact, when he rescued Colleen Carlton from the fire at Gina’s restaurant, J.T.’s status officially became “hero!”
While J.T. and Colleen’s romance ended, he found a new soulmate in Mac (following a failed marriage to Victoria). J.T. and Mac left town with Reed back in 2010. Time will tell what brings Luckinbill back to town. Stay tuned!
