Here’s How This Teen Pairing Could Terrorize Young and the Restless

Lucy uses Connor for her own ends.

Connor is coming home on The Young and the Restless. Adam and Chelsea are excited. Chelsea is also freaked out. She snapped at Billy this week that she’s so, so worried about her son and doing the wrong thing for him. (Because what she really wanted to snap was that Billy should stop asking questions which could lead to Chelsea blurting out that she and Adam slept together because, all of a sudden, the professional con has forgotten how to con.) But Chelsea is right to worry especially when there’s a bad influence lurking in Genoa City poised to make Connor’s instability even worse.

Leading Lady

The last time Connor (Judah Mackey) crossed paths with Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant), he went into his usual pout cycle when it appeared Lucy was more interested in his older half-brother, Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) than little kid Connor. Connor hates it when he’s not the center of attention.

But Connor is in luck. Lucy has just been dissed by an older girl, Faith (Reylynn Caster). And it doesn’t look like Lucy (check out these facts about the character) is feeling like letting Faith slide for that. She has something to prove. And, for that, she needs a minion. Who better than Connor?

Butter Up

From the minute he was born, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) have been telling him he’s the most special, the most important, the most incredible boy in the universe. So it won’t seem off to Connor when Lucy starts buttering him up in the exact same way. Of course, Chelsea and Adam genuinely believe it. At the same time, Lucy will only be using Connor as a means to an end. And he’ll fall for it.

Sick in the Head

Connor is fresh out of a facility, which convinced him that he has mental issues. Lucy is the biological granddaughter of Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), so we have to assume she’s a high-functioning sociopath like them. This is a match made in Hell. Especially when Lucy convinces Connor, who feels like an outcast, that they can get revenge on the cool kids like Faith and Johnny…as long as he does whatever she says.
