The Young and the Restless left Aunt Jordan’s story on a cliffhanger through last week’s March madness preemptions. We suspected Nikki, Victoria, and Claire hadn’t let Jordan die in the cabin, and on Monday, March 25 episode, we were proven right.
Victor’s Ominous Foreshadowing
Victor (Eric Braeden) wasn’t at all thrilled with Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) choosing to call 911 and get help for Jordan, saving her life. Nikki insisted she couldn’t live with herself if she’d allowed Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to die. Plus, she felt death was too easy for an evil like Jordan.
Of course, Victor reminded Nikki that Jordan wasn’t the type of woman who’d just go to trial and spend the rest of her life in prison. She’s too good at breaking out. Jordan already burned down one facility to escape, and Victor realizes she’ll do something similar again. Claire (Hayley Erin) agreed with her newfound grandpa.
She wished Jordan was gone for good, but she still tried to be supportive of Nikki. Victor got an update on “that woman” Jordan, and he wasn’t pleased to reveal that she was making a recovery.
Nikki declared to Victoria and Claire that they’d beaten Jordan, and they shared a meaningful hug. Of course, the episode cut to a hospitalized Jordan in her hospital bed awake and alert. In her head, Jordan schemed about how she’d escape. After all, the poison was all in her plan. All she had to do was determine her next step.
We suspect that, as usual, Victor will be proven right, and Jordan will be the one to ensure that happens. It’s only a matter of time before she escapes and plots her revenge on Victor, Nikki, and the rest of the Newmans again. Our biggest question is, will Claire end up helping her? Perhaps.
