Adam has so many reasons to turn on his father on The Young and the Restless. Even more than Victor’s other children. But the October 16 episode made us think that Adam maybe, just maybe, has finally had enough. And he knows exactly how he can get back at Victor.
Victor (Eric Braeden) has made it clear to Adam (Mark Grossman) that his feelings, needs, and traumas come last on a long, long list of other people. How many times has Victor given Adam power – as a way to manipulate Victoria (Amelia Heinle) or Nicholas (Joshua Morrow)?
Now, he wants Adam to go back on his promise not to attack Jack (Peter Bergman) via Newman Media so Victor can give Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) a company she didn’t even ask for. And Adam is furious. He walked out on Victor. Nobody walks out on Victor. You got that?

Adam pointed out that Victor fired Audra (Zuleyka Silver) without just cause so that he could prioritize Kyle (Michael Mealor). So what better way for Adam to get revenge on Victor than by joining forces with Audra? She already offered Jack the chance to team up and take down Kyle and Glissade. So why not add Adam to the partnership? They can take Glissade away from Kyle, infuriate Victor, and partner with Jabot. Everybody wins!

And if Adam and Audra prove to work well in the boardroom, why not move it to the bedroom next? Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) are a toxic, painful, co-dependent mess of a disaster. That’s a non-starter and should never go past the co-parenting space. Audra and Adam, on the other hand, would deeply offend Victor and Kyle. And that’s the least of the reasons for this team-up.
Let us know your thoughts on a potential Adam and Audra professional, and maybe even personal, pairing in the comments.
