From Danger to Love: Young and the Restless’ Courtney Hope’s Inspiring Rescue Story Update

Fans of Courtney Hope and The Young and the Restless may remember that last year, the actress shared a horrifying story of a kitten she rescued off the freeway in Los Angeles. Recently, the Daytime Emmy-winning actress gave a heartwarming update on the cat that she adopted and named Nova.

Small But Mighty

Hope’s little cat, Nova, joined her furr family last year, and the actress, who portrays Sally Spectra, recently shared a precious update on her Instagram story. In the video, the cat sat atop a cat tree, looking out a window. Hope said, “Nova. What do you want to tell everyone how you’re still so small that you’re apparently a micro cat? Yeah, she says, ‘I’m small but mighty.'”

Atop the video, which you can see below, Hope wrote, “full-grown, 7 pounds of pure love and sass.

Later, after fans asked questions, Hope shared a bit more, confirming that the small gray cat was the one she rescued last year. On one short clip of Nova and her dog, Hope confirmed, “To everyone that asked, yes, this is the kitten I found in the road. She’s healthy and almost one year old now and loves to wrestle with the dude.

She also shared another sweet clip of Nova outside, writing, “One more, because her love for them [her dogs] makes my heart so happy. The face hold.

Hope has been very open about her dogs and cat. Earlier this year, she shared a big milestone with her dog, Stevie Nicks, celebrating the pooch’s 15th birthday on Valentine’s Day. She credited the pup with being the one who changed everything for her.
