Drawn to the Drama
Grossman’s passion for acting began in his childhood in Arizona, where he got his first taste of performing as the Beast in a school production of Beauty & the Beast. That early spark inspired him to pursue acting full-time after high school. Before heading to Hollywood, Grossman gained experience in a string of local independent films, sharpening his craft and building confidence in front of the camera.
Once in Los Angeles, Grossman quickly signed with representation, continued training, and hit the audition circuit. His career began to take off not only in acting but also in modeling, opening the door to bigger opportunities. The actor appeared in projects like Freeform’s Famous in Love and the feature film Get Big.

Mark joined Y&R as Adam Newman, the son of Eric Braeden’s Victor, on May 13, 2019. He scored a nomination for the Outstanding Performer in a Drama Series Daytime Emmy in 2020. In an appearance on Maurice Benard’s (Sonny) State of Mind podcast, the actor revealed he had auditioned for General Hospital. He has played the role of Adam longer than his predecessors, including Justin Hartley, whom he met while visiting the Y&R studios. Hartley aired from 2014 to 2016, while Michael Muhney aired from 2009 to 2014.
Sharing the Screen With Soap Favorites
Fans of daytime recognized him when he starred opposite Days of our Lives alum Arianne Zucker (Nicole) in Babysitter’s Nightmare. Grossman’s credits also include the film South32 opposite The Bold and the Beautiful’s Sean Kanan (Deacon) and One Life To Live alum Melissa Archer (Natalie). He later appeared in Nightmare Cinema, which featured GH‘s Benard.
