Damian’s drama-filled life is taking a peaceful turn on The Young and the Restless. With his mother’s health improving and his relationship with Lily blossoming, things are looking up for the businessman. But a recent scene has fans believing tragedy is on the way.
Eerie Premonition
Damian (Jermaine Rivers) is one of the guests going to Aristotle Dumas’ party in France. Before leaving for his trip, he spent time with his mother, Amy (Valarie Pettiford). Their meeting went peacefully, but as Damian hugged Amy goodbye, she felt a chill go down her spine.
Amy’s comment about her eerie sensation didn’t go unnoticed by viewers. On a Y&R message board, fans expressed worry that tragedy is about to strike for Damian and Amy.
”I don’t want anything to happen to Damian. They just got reunited. I want them to have a future. And I’d like to see what happens between Lily and Damian,” wrote one fan.
”The way I read it was something is going to happen to Amy while he is away. She has been having such a miraculous recovery, it could very well be a red herring,” one viewer replied.
”I think she felt that this party is going to hurt him, meaning that he will not have a romantic relationship with Lily like he desires. That he will face disappointment,” one commenter wrote.
Damian attending Dumas’ party is surprising given that he was just fired by the mysterious businessman. But Damian wants to support Lily (Christel Khalil) as she tries to discover what Dumas wants with her family’s company. However, he might end up regretting his decision to go on the trip.
With a lot of mystery and revelations surrounding Dumas’ party, disaster is bound to strike, and Damian could be a victim.
