Breaking the Chains Foundation VP
An Instagram post revealed the big news. This new gig of Hope’s is tied to something near and dear to her heart. The Breaking the Chains Foundation announced via its Instagram page that Hope is the organization’s new vice president.
“Courtney has been with BTCF for almost 6 years,” the organization noted in the caption. “Her passion, advocacy, creativity, integrity, intelligence, kindness, support, and leadership are truly remarkable, inspiring, and highly valued!”
The Breaking the Chains Foundation’s mission is “to use the power of art and expression to foster creativity, build connections, and create a community in which individuals can thrive.”
The foundation is also “committed to the prevention of body-focused and mental well-being stigmas.”
As BTCF noted, Hope has a degree in psychology and one in nutrition and healthy living from Cornell University. The Y&R star has also earned certifications in Piloxing, Pilates, Cardio Barre, and personal training.
In May 2023, Hope opened up about her involvement in the organization. She shared she began as a BTCF celebrity ambassador, and later became a board member. Hope noted she has navigated her own mental health and eating disorder journeys in her personal life. The Y&R star said that as an artist, it’s been “amazing” to connect with people through an organization that puts artistry and well-being issues together as BTCF does.
In response to the announcement, Hope noted her enthusiasm for the new gig. In a comment on the Instagram post, she wrote, “I couldn’t be more excited and honored! This foundation means so much to me, and I can’t wait to get to integrate myself deeper and to expand our mission further.”
Soap Hub congratulates Hope on her new position.
