Y&R Comings And Goings: Christel Khalil Says She’s ‘Back At It’

Christel Khalil left The Young and the Restless late last year for maternity leave. Lily left the canvas when her daughter Mattie experienced a fire at the university.

The Y&R star shared in her Instagram stories that she was back on set. The actress shared a clip of herself alongside her co-stars Bryton James (Devon) and Eric Braeden (Victor) with the caption, “Back at it” written across the top.

Although Khalil hasn’t posted about her new baby, she did share details of her baby shower last October in a sweet slideshow, which you can see below.

In another post, the actress also noted that she was having a baby boy. “Getting closer to meeting our baby boy…” she wrote alongside beautiful photos from her pregnancy photoshoot with photographer Nikki Finnin.

Turmoil for Lily

Although Khalil, James, and Braeden were all smiles in Khalil’s story, the same might not be true for Lily when she returns to Genoa City. During her absence, her boyfriend, Daniel (Michael Graziadei), had sex with his ex, Heather (Vail Bloom). Not only did he cheat, but also Daniel decided to reunite with Heather, which will undoubtedly hurt Lily.

Plus, Lily will likely find out that her brother, Devon, also knew about Daniel’s cheating. Although both Devon and Daniel agreed that Lily wasn’t in the right headspace to learn about the situation, she’s probably not going to love finding out she’s been cheated on and dumped while she was off helping Mattie.
