Genoa City’s resident villain is back. Colleen Zenk reprised her role of crazy Aunt Jordan on The Young and the Restless. She’s up to more hijinks this time around. This time, she’s terrorizing Sharon Newman. In a new social media post, Zenk shared what working with the brilliant Sharon Case was like and encouraged fans to keep watching the daytime soap. The twist in this storyline is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Sharon (Sharon Case) has been struggling with her bipolar disorder. She assumed she was responsible for Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death. She also thought she ran Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) off the road. But Aunt Jordan has something to do with Sharon’s descent into madness.
Up to this point, she was convinced she could hear Cameron’s (Linden Ashby) voice, egging her on. It was possibly Jordan or her partner in crime, Ian Ward (Ray Wise), who was haunting Sharon’s thoughts during her blackout moments.
The drama has yet to unfold in Genoa City. None of the Newmans know what’s in store for them. Sharon seems to be the next one on Jordan’s hit list. So, obviously, Y&R fans wanted to know what it was like for Zenk to work with Case.
One curious fan asked the talented actress on X, formerly Twitter. But first, Zenk (who set the record straight on her return) addressed the “haters.” She revealed that she went through “two rounds of oral cancer.” She learned not to listen to those who question her aging looks.
“What’s it like working with Sharon Case?” one user asked. Zenk wrote, “She is a love. A pro. And so so sweet… there is more to come.”
In that same post, Zenk teased that the two ladies would be onscreen together and added, “Stay tuned.” What will happen when Sharon comes face to face with Aunt Jordan? Nick (Joshua Morrow) already filled her in on the history. Will Jordan try to kill Sharon next? Fans are excited to see what will come out of this wild storyline.
“I am so happy to see you back on Y&R. You are doing an incredible job. Wishing you the very best,” one fan wrote. “I cheered when ‘Jordan’ walked in! Just wished they could have you play a character that could stay. You’re an incredible actress.”
Ultimately, Jordan won’t last for long. The authorities will catch up to her and her antics somehow. Will Chance (Conner Floyd) be able to crack this wild case? Like Zenk said, stay tuned…(Check out the Thanksgiving confessions & confrontations on Y&R.)
