Jordan Howard died on The Young and the Restless, January 24 episode. That means that Daytime Emmy nominated actress Colleen Zenk is out as the evil villain who wanted to take down the Newmans. Previously, Zenk portrayed Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns.
Farewell To Jordan
Y&R’s executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith told Deadline about the veteran soap star’s farewell to the soap. “We appreciate all of the incredible work that the amazing Colleen Zenk brought to The Young and the Restless and the role of Aunt Jordan,” he said.

Jordan’s been down and out before, and it even appeared as if she’d died. She tortured Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and used Claire (Hayley Erin) to try to kill the Newmans. Victor (Eric Braeden) held her in his secret wine cellar jail cell until Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) ended up putting her in prison.
It seemed as if Jordan was locked up tight, but then Ian Ward (Ray Wise) met her, and he arranged for somebody else to take her place. That left Jordan free to wreak havoc on Genoa City again. She kidnapped Sharon (Sharon Case) on New Year’s Eve after Ian had killed Heather (Vail Bloom) months before, and they attempted to frame Sharon for it.
Jordan met her end by drinking poisoned tea Claire (Hayley Erin) had made for her. Of course, Jordan knew the drink would be the death of her, but she chose to drink it anyway. Now, Claire, Sharon, and the rest of the Newmans are left to deal with the fallout. Of course, Ian is still on the loose, which will likely cause a few more issues before it all plays out.
