Cole faces a big choice about Jordan.
Cole refused to help Jordan on the May 22 episode of The Young and the Restless despite her begging him to let her go or even call the police. Whatever he decides to do will determine the course of the rest of his life.
Jordan (Colleen Zenk) begged for Cole’s (J. Eddie Peck) help after he discovered that Victor (Eric Braeden) was holding her in his wine cellar jail cell. She tried to tell him that she was his only remaining family, but he reminded her that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Claire (Hayley Erin) were also his family. The people Jordan tried to take away from him.
Ultimately, Cole left Jordan there, and he was distracted while spending time with Victoria and Claire. He didn’t confront Victor about the situation, but Cole did call Michael (Christian Le Blanc). Still, as of now, he hasn’t really made a choice about how to deal with the situation.
Is Cole the kind of man who could live with himself knowing he left Jordan for Victor to torture? If he does, and somehow the news comes out, he could risk criminal prosecution over keeping quiet.
However, if Cole does blow the whistle and Jordan somehow escapes justice again (which seems likely for her), she could harm Claire, Victoria, or even him. Now that he knows what Victor did with his aunt, he faces an almost impossible choice.
Of course, none of this takes into account the wrath of Victor. The Mustache won’t be thrilled that Cole knows what he did. Also, telling Michael the truth without Victor’s approval is going to cause a problem. It could be that Victor ends up being the biggest problem for Cole in this whole situation.
