On the October 23 episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis begged Nick to help her clear Daniel’s name. Nick was stunned when Phyllis suggested that Sharon killed Heather, and he quickly shut her down. However, when Nick showed up at Sharon’s, she seemed on the verge of confessing. Is there any way that Nick can save both Sharon while saving Phyllis’s family too?
It looks like Y&R is setting Nick (Joshua Morrow) up for an unbearable choice. Sharon (Sharon Case) seemed convinced that Nick would help her. Cameron (Linden Ashby) told her to be real and insisted that while fantasy Nick might help her, real Nick would turn her in to the police quickly. However, Sharon seemed to think Cameron was wrong.
Nick showed up, and Sharon cried that she couldn’t do it anymore. Is that when he realized that Phyllis was right about Sharon killing Heather (Vail Bloom)? Possibly. The look on his face certainly seemed knowing.
Everyone knows that Nick is a sucker for saving women. Right now, it seems like he has two women who need saving.
There’s Phyllis (Michelle Stafford — who wants this next) is about to lose her son to prison, causing her granddaughter Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) to spiral even further. Plus, it would also hurt Summer (Allison Lanier) for her brother to go to jail.
However, Nick has long had a special spot in his heart for Sharon. She’s obviously struggling with her mental health, and he doesn’t even know about her Cameron hallucination. Is there some way Nick could help Sharon avoid consequences while also ensuring that Phyllis’s family stays okay?
It seems impossible, but there’s also the possibility that Sharon didn’t actually kill Heather since she blacked out while Heather was alive. What will Nick do? What should Nick do? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
