Bryton James Teases ‘Big Shock’ At Abby And Devon’s Wedding On Young and the Restless

Some of your favorites from The Young and the Restless took viewers behind the scenes at Abby and Devon’s wedding. It’s one of the biggest events of the year, and it’s Y&R’s 13,000th episode. Bryton James gave a teaser on the drama that will unfold.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) will exchange vows on Wednesday, November 13. Talk about a lucky number. It’s also Abby’s birthday and the show’s 13,000th episode. It’s hard to believe. Even some of your favorites can’t even describe the feeling. 

Everyone is invited to the ceremony, even Newman’s biggest enemies. Fans will also get to see some blasts from the past, a rare moment for this occasion. 

The cast of Y&R took fans inside Abby and Devon’s wedding in a new YouTube video. James explained that there was “going to be a big shock” at the ceremony. He couldn’t share any more details. 

What Does Victor Have Up His Sleeve?

Producers unveiled the set for the wedding, which takes place at the original Newman Ranch. They wanted to give the fans some familiarity. Victor (Eric Braeden) was heavily involved with the nuptials. He told his daughter not to worry about anything because he would plan everything. This is the reason why Abby is feeling lighter these days. 

However, there’s something behind Victor’s madness. The man never sleeps. He’s too busy scheming. The “big shock” that James mentioned could have something to do with Victor’s revenge plot against Jack (Peter Bergman). After all, what’s a wedding without some family drama? He could use Abby and Devon’s wedding to expose Billy (Jason Thompson).

Or, perhaps it has something to do with Sharon (Sharon Case) and Heather’s (Vail Bloom) murder. Maybe Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) finds real evidence that Sharon murdered Heather and set up Daniel (Michael Graziadei).
