CBS has unveiled its fall daytime premiere schedule, and the lineup is stacked with new drama, fresh twists, and a major milestone or two. The Network, which has been the #1 destination in daytime for nearly four decades, is bringing back favorites like The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal, while also ushering in landmark new seasons for The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. Plus, the newest soap on the block, Beyond the Gates, continues to expand its reach.
The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal Return September 22
The Price Is Right, television’s longest-running game show, kicks off its 54th season on Monday, September 22. Host Drew Carey introduces a brand-new pricing game, “The Lion’s Share,” in partnership with BetMGM. Contestants will step into the Lion’s wind chamber for a chance at jackpots worth up to half a million dollars, dream vacations, and luxury cars.
Meanwhile, Let’s Make a Deal enters season 17 on the same day, with Wayne Brady back at the helm. Fan-favorite themed episodes like “Mega Money Mondays” and “Fabulous Car Fridays” return, along with special guests including Survivor’s Jeff Probst and The Amazing Race’s Phil Keoghan.
Y&R Marks Its 53rd Season October 7
Daytime’s #1 drama for 36 consecutive seasons, The Young and the Restless, launches its 53rd season on Tuesday, October 7. Genoa City will be brimming with tension as Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) weigh protecting their legacies, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) set off on a dangerous search, and Billy (Jason Thompson) faces off with Cane (Billy Flynn) as Jill (Jess Walton) returns.
Audra (Zuleyka Silver), Nate (Sean Dominic), and Claire (Hayley Erin) all face complicated personal crossroads, while Cricket (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) finally prepare to say “I do” in November. New arrivals Sienna (Tamara Braun) and a mysterious stranger (Roger Howarth) guarantee even more intrigue.
B&B Begins Season 39 September 15
The most-watched daily drama in the world, The Bold and the Beautiful, returns Monday, September 15. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) faces fallout from his kiss with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), sending shockwaves through his engagement with Taylor (Rebecca Budig).
Hope (Annika Noelle) remains torn between Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Liam (Scott Clifton), while Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) brace for more family turmoil. Beyond the Gates Continues Its First Season
