Some of your favorites from The Young and the Restless are getting into the holiday spirit. A new behind-the-scenes video surfaced, giving the first look at Genoa City being transformed for Christmas. Some of the cast members showed off their new holiday styles.
Christmas Comes to GC
The new Y&R Insider YouTube channel has lots of great content. This is the hub for those who can’t get enough of the daytime soap. In a recent video, you’ll notice that the set is decorated for the holiday season. This is the first look at GC at Christmastime this year.
Some of your favorites are also decked out in their holiday best. Beth Maitland (Traci) welcomes you into the video. She revealed that she and her fellow cast members had to guess the number of their first episode.
She was joined by Camryn Grimes (Mariah), Melissa Ordway (Abby), Cait Fairbanks (Tessa), Joshua Morrow (Nick), Michael Damian (Danny), Eileen Davidson (Ashley), and many more. Each was given three options. Not all of them got it right the first time around.
They had to get through the game until they got the right answer. When they won, a throwback photo from that time flashed onto the tablet. Now it’s your turn. Can you get it right? Check out the video below and let us know in the comment section.
2024 Holiday Season
As you can see, some parts of the set were decorated for Christmas. Ordway stood in front of a beautiful Christmas tree adorned with red ribbon, pinecones, and garland. She looked beautiful with her new bob and sleek silver evening gown. Speaking of which, Ordway recently set the record straight about her role on Y&R.
Bryton James (Devon) also stood in front of that same Christmas tree. Are the Newmans celebrating the holiday at the ranch this year? Meanwhile, Fairbanks and Davidson stood before a dazzling white Christmas at Society.
The GCAC had sleek gold decorations to complement the luscious blue walls. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast hung out backstage. It’s unclear what will happen in Genoa City this holiday season. But one thing seems clear: not everyone will have a Merry Christmas. Those, who do, though, will be doing it in fine style with these gorgeous decorations.
