Baby Aria Goes Missing! Is This Ian Ward’s Ultimate Revenge Plot To Destroy Mariah On Young and the Restless?

Ian Ward made his way to Crimson Light today on The Young and the Restless and just so happened to be there at the same time as Mariah. Even not knowing he was there, Mariah felt a shiver go down her spine. It got us wondering if that was a touch of foreshadowing of what’s to come. Will seeing Mariah set Ian Ward down a dark path that will ruin his former obsession’s life? 

Dangerous Obsessions

Poor Mariah (Camryn Grimes) lived much of her life under Ian’s rule. He got his hands on her when she was born, raised her as a daughter, and trained her to grow up to be his wife! Terrifying! Devious! How absolutely awful. It was only a miracle that Mariah managed to escape. It was a truly terrible life, and Mariah never wanted to repeat it. But…is that Ian’s grand plan?

Could it be that Ian is targeting Sharon to get her out of the way so he can cook up an attack on Mariah? And not just Mariah but baby Aria, too? What if his master plan is to steal Aria away so he can finish what he started with Mariah? Is this all a scheme to kidnap the baby girl?

Just imagine the chaos that is sure to ensue if Ian gets his hands on Aria and runs off with her. All it would take is him spying on Mariah or Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) at the park and the mamas looking away for a hot second. It would only take a moment for Ian to pick up the kiddo and run off. 

Within minutes, the search for Aria would begin, but Ian is a master at covering his tracks. The baby would be gone without a trace, and everyone would be left scrambling for clues and answers. All the while, Ian would be on the road, already several steps ahead. 

A Rescue Mission Like No Other

Would anyone suspect Ian Ward? Nobody but Evil Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) knows he’s around, and she’s certainly not going to say anything. In fact, she’ll be the one giving him a helping hand. Ian will make his great escape with a big dream of raising Aria to be the new Mariah. 

It will take a nationwide manhunt to bring the child home to her mommies. Victor (Eric Braeden) will pull out all the stops…as will all the other powerful families in town. The rescue mission will be full of dangerous twists and turns and will surely come to an explosive end.
