Sharon and Daniel had a good talk on the March 24 episode of The Young and the Restless. They talked about Phyllis and Heather and Lucy and guilt. Sharon said it was a good talk, and she’s a professional. They really connected. Could this connection lead to something more?
Two Generations
Technically, Daniel is young enough to be Sharon’s (Sharon Case) son. He was a friend of her daughter, Cassie (Camryn Grimes). For decades, Sharon blamed Daniel for Cassie’s death.
More recently, Daniel blamed Sharon for Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death. And for framing him for the crime. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) blames Sharon, too. A lot more loudly than Daniel does. How would she feel about their nice chat today? How would she feel about the nice chat turning into a full-fledged affair? Or even…love?

Making Nice
Sure, Phyllis allowed Nick (Joshua Morrow) to call Sharon and try to broker a peace between them. But that was only because she was in a self-described, weakened state.
Phyllis may agree to hug it out now, but we know our Phyllis, she’ll be back to ranting, raving, and roaring in now time. Just in time to find out what her son and nemesis are up to.

Match Point
We can see the attraction between Daniel and Sharon. They have so much in common, so much shared trauma, and so much combined pretty. Sharon has done the younger man thing before — Scott, Chance, et al.
Daniel managed to cheat on Lily (Christel Khalil) with Heather when Lily was out of town for a few weeks. Heather had been dead for months! Daniel must be ready to move on. Plus, we know Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Braint) would hate the idea of her dad with anybody…except maybe Faith’s (Reylynn Caster) mom. Plus, it will drive Phyllis bonkers. And they both kind of love that, even if they won’t admit it.
